How does JobGenie work?
There are two aspects to a website
job postings functionality. First,
the pages with job listings,
job application forms, search forms, etc,
need to be added to your website. This is provided "out-of-the-box",
and all that's left is integration with the rest of the customers
website, and ALG Systems
does this for you. Secondly, you need to be able to add/remove
job postings on your website, and this is accomplished with
the JobGenie
application.
JobGenie application has a flexible job posting design tool, with predefined job categories, descriptions and locations.
Templates can be created for frequently used job descriptions. An unlimited number of contact names and emails can be created
and each associated with any job posting, thus allowing several people to share recruiting responsibilities.
Once the job descriptions are uploaded to the
website, they can be searched by applicants, who can choose
any number of openings to apply for. Applicant information can
be entered manually, and/or resumes can be attached to the application.
Once the application is submitted, it is emailed along with
a resume, or automatically imported into existing database system
using WEBConnect™ technology.
There are other unique features that recruiters will appreciate when using JobGenie regularly,
as the needs for website management become more sophisticated.
For example, JobGenie
application allows recruiters to customize how job search is
performed on the website. Let's say a company is focused on
a local job market, then there's no need to search job listings
by geographic area, so this search criteria can be turned off
on the website through the JobGenie
application. Also, temporary and permanent job searches are
customized independently.
